RiverHacks The Agentic Leap

The Agentic Leap

Summary

AI adoption is at an inflection point. The organisations pulling ahead are not those with the most tools in production. They are the ones that have restructured how work gets done, with trustworthy AI embedded in the operational core and humans governing the decisions that matter.

The transition from AI as an assistant to AI as an active participant in workflows, is what we call the Agentic Leap. And for most organisations, it remains conceptual. RiverHacks is where that changes!

RiverHacks is a hands-on AI hackathon for engineers, CIOs, CTOs, and technically-minded leaders ready to make the agentic leap, moving from concept into working solutions you can trust to take back to your organisation.

A format with a track record

With Riverhack’s proven impact across industries (finance to enterprise technology) and cities (Amsterdam, London, Dubai), the outcome is always the same: high energy, real prototypes, and momentum that outlasts the event

What to expect

  • Build working agent-based prototypes grounded in real business problems.
  • Learn first-hand from Unilever’s approach.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, orchestration patterns, and engineering decisions.
  • Network with engineers and technical leaders navigating the same shift.

Inside RiverHacks

The day opens with Riverflex's point of view on the Agentic Enterprise, followed by a concrete industry example from Unilever's Global Supply Planning Director, Mohamed el Koubai, on their journey towards zero-touch supply chain planning.

Before the sprint, one of Riverflex's senior engineers will run a practical AI Masterclass on how agentic systems are actually built and what separates a working prototype from something operationally reliable.

From there, you'll work in mixed teams of engineers and business leaders on real challenges. Teams will define outcomes and constraints, design agent-based solutions, and build working prototypes within the session. The goal is something tangible, not a slide deck.

The session closes with a live competition where each team presents to a panel of expert judges, followed by networking drinks and bites.

A rare opportunity at no cost

Typically reserved for clients as a paid engagement, this RiverHacks edition is complimentary for a small, curated group. Places are intentionally limited.

By the end of the day, you will have a clearer picture of what an Agentic Enterprise looks like in practice, hands-on experience building agent-based solutions, and a concrete starting point for your own organisation. The agentic leap starts here.

From prototype to production

RiverHacks is often the starting point; What starts as a 2.5-hour sprint can become a two-week pilot or a two-month path to production. Re-founding doesn't stop at ideation; it continues into execution.
